What It Is

A collaborative, honest conversation — with direction.

Psychotherapy is a structured, confidential relationship with a trained clinician, aimed at understanding what is happening in your life and changing what isn't working. With Nonie, it is relational and integrative: the methods are chosen for you, not taken from a formula.

Some clients arrive with a clear problem — panic attacks, a loss, a marriage under strain. Others come with a harder-to-name sense that something is off: low mood, irritability, poor sleep, or the feeling of living on autopilot. Both are good reasons to begin.

Sessions take place in person in Newport or on the Upper East Side, or by secure video for clients located in New York, Connecticut, Florida and Rhode Island.
