The Approach

Care for the mind and the body, together.

Most therapy speaks only to the mind. Nonie pairs deep, relational psychotherapy with Brainspotting and Bioregulation Therapy — methods that reach where talk alone cannot.

An Integrative Philosophy

Chosen for the person, not the formula.

There is no single right method — only the right one for you, at this moment. In a first conversation, Nonie listens for what will actually help, then draws on more than two decades of practice to shape a path. Often that means combining the three modalities below.

Psychotherapy

Talk that goes somewhere.

Relational, integrative psychotherapy for the things that weigh on a full life — anxiety, depression, trauma and loss, life transitions, relationships, and the quiet pressures that come with responsibility and success.

Sessions are unhurried and confidential, in person or by secure video. The work is collaborative: understanding the patterns, then building genuine, lasting change — not just coping.

A particular focus: young people away from home. Nonie has deep experience supporting students at New England boarding schools — through homesickness, anxiety, and the academic and social pressures of living away — in discreet coordination with their families, wherever in the world they are.

Bioregulation Therapy · BRT

Helping the body heal itself.

BRT is a unique approach to health and wellness that uses biofeedback and PEMF-based electromagnetic technology to help the body better self-regulate, adapt, and heal naturally.

The system reads the electrical impulses your cells emit, filters out the disharmonic “unhealthy” signals that interfere with cell communication, amplifies the healthy ones, and sends them back to encourage your cells to function as they should. As the cells do their jobs better, the nervous system calms and disruptive signals — including pain — diminish.

All you do is recline and relax — in the private BRT room, or as a house call at home. You feel nothing but relaxation.

What Happens in a BRT Session

Effortless by design.

Five to seven small sensors measure your body's core bioelectrical signals and provide feedback. You feel nothing — the device simply reflects your own systems back to you.

01

Settle in

You recline comfortably in the BRT room — or at home on a house call. Sensors are placed; nothing is invasive.

02

Relax

Sessions run about thirty minutes to an hour. The computer does the work while you rest. Most people simply unwind.

03

Build over a course

A course of at least six sessions is typical — scheduled alongside psychotherapy, or on their own.

Brainspotting

Reaching what words can't.

Brainspotting is a focused mind-body method built on a simple insight: where you look affects how you feel. By holding a relevant eye position, the brain can access and release trauma and emotion held below conscious thought.

It is gentle and often remarkably effective — used for trauma, anxiety, grief, and performance, and a natural complement to talk therapy when something feels stuck.
